HIPPY BATHDAY

hip-py bath-day: The wrong way to spell happy birthday.

Well, in a short while, it will be TALL V'S BIRTHDAY!!!!

SO,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY V!!! =D =D =D

As a tribute to your birthday, I'll make use of my great poetic skills to compose a haiku. :)

V Lee is
Turning eighteen today, so,
Say: Happy Birthday.

V - your name has too many syllables...

I guess I should write something deep and meaningful, so I'll try.

V-lee, the first time I met you, I was in awe of your great height. You were also that person that was Jenny's friend. =) (random note: if you ever read this Jenny, hi-5 first-Rus* friend!)
Continuing: Well, after I met you, um. I actually can't really remember my first meetings with a lot of people.. =/ Yea.

Ok. These past two years have been great and you come up with the most weirdest and amusing ideas and you are also a very very ineffable person. Lol, I searched in the thesaurus to find another word for amusing, but nothing else fits. And then, I found this word:

Main Entry: ineffable
Part of Speech: adjective
Definition: too great for words

Yep. Pretty cool isn't it? Except, I then searched it up using the dictionary and the definition was

  1. Incapable of being expressed; indescribable or unutterable.
  2. Not to be uttered; taboo

Oh well. =( You can be taboo then...

Anyway, as I was saying, I can't imagine these past years without your company. You're always there to help/cheer us up/or just being happy. You're AWESOME!

Since I won't be able to see you tomorrow/today, I hope you are having a great day and also doing this:

ANYWAY, V of the ESAS (or was is V of the LEES? ) here is your birthday song:

Happy biiiiiirthday to youuuuuuuu
happy biiiiiiiiiirthday toooo youuuuuu
haappy biiiiiiiiii(high squeaky note)iiiirthday dear v,
haaappy biiirthday, to youuuuuuuuuuuuu.

(you have to sing it to yourself with those long-letter bits too =P)

May we all live long lives and go celebrate and party after HSC!!

Until we meet again my dear friend.

back to the future

HELLO EVEREEBODY
this is tall v,being bored and doing what she dies BEST in times of boredom which is post
i must say CONGRATS TO JO who has finally, after endless naggings and what not... posted!
im afraid my post will not nearly be up to the standards of her neverr-ending post but ill try !
well i like making lists so in a vain attempt to be interesting ill copy JO and make a list of all the spiddles BUT this is a list on what i think you will be when you grow up..o and just random thoughts about u
SORRY TO COPY U JO OF THE ANNES but your great posting skills are such that i MUST learn from the best:

# 1: JOANNE
first of all, sorry to shatter your dreams joanne but for some odd reason,i CANNOT see you being a doctor,i think it is the fact that you are too little and cute and private-school-girl-like.HOWEVER all hope is not lost as i can defs see u being a NEWSREPORTER when u grow up.i dont know maybe im basing my thoughts merely on that modern video u starred in but YES i can picture u wearing a suit and sitting on channel 10 and reading out the news..with you HAIR LET OUT.just thought id throw that in.JUST RANDOMLY do u know what elissa said to me once? she said she really likes being in your house because its so nice and family-like..i totes agree..(gosh why am i using these words?) well to jo,thanks a million for being one of the most amusing,NICEST kindest friend i could ever ask for. You make me smile and i appreciate the fact that whenever i do something crazy, you just accept it and copy me instead of being like o_o!!
#2: JANE
JANE i can see you heading a big big company overseas ,wearing business skirts and balancing your accounts and what not. I predict you will be RICH and have the typical movie life with the handsome husband and the successful career and a chihuahua in your bag and i can see you working out at the gym a lot too. But i cant picture you with children YOU'RE TOO SKINNY JANE..like joanne said when i first met you you were like A MUTE MOUSE but now that ive gotten to really know you you are the most fobbiest, amusingest person ive ever met and you are always so smiley and happy and laughing at our jokes even if they're not funny at all!
#3: KATE
well firstly sorry for saying earlier that i cant see you doing anything smart, but i just meant that i cant see you being like a dentist or doctor or anything. You're just too eccentric to be that boring! what i can see you doing is -this may sound weird- managing a home for little orphans.o and in your spare time being one of those people that make those weird dance and singing vids and post them on youtube. Maybe its just the fact that you are so INTERESTING as a person and you arent scared or embarrassed to be crazy and play funny games with children.like heaps of adults would never ever embarrass themselves by acting like kids BUT NOT YOU, and plus you always have the most COOLEST ideas for our photos and stuff. To kate, thanks a heap for being so willing to put so much work into our bday videos and presents like guinea pigs and stuff. i mean i bet nobody in our grade in the WORLD even puts half as much of their time into making our days so special as much as you do. AND I LOVE how ur such a natural person,ur not fake or anything THANKS
#4: CHLOE
DEARY DEARY CHLOBURGER.other than my faithful spouse,i can see you being the boss of a big big  magazine, like in the devil wears prada except of course ull be a nice boss. since you're more of a logical than a creative person i think you will be in charge of the profits and stuff and also since you pick up stuff so well i can see you being one of those really young bosses that started out small but quickly worked their way up. A LOT OF THANKS for being such a wonderful LOVERRR to me all these years and for being crazy with me even when there is the danger of people seeing us and thinking we're crazyyyyyy. thank you for accepting me as i am. LOVE YOU LOTS
#5 JENNYTALS
HELLO well you arrrre an artsy fartsy type one so i can DEFINATELY see you being some kind of musician or artist. but at the same time you are good at the academic stuffs so i can see on the side you will be maybe a medical type person as well.i dunno i can really see u with animals..PJIGGY One day you will go on stage as JENNY THE O SO FAMOUS MUSICIAN and when that day comes ill buy 11 tickets so we can all come watch.YO JENNYTALS i thank you for putting up with me since year 7 and my annoying habits to poke you with sticks in yr 10 music and for also, like kate, putting SOOOO much time and effort into our bdays which were that much more enjoyable cos of you!
#6 LITTLE V
all jokes about mccready and fernandez aside,i can actually see you teaching chemistry, though not high school but a university professor type person. I can see you wearing the lab coat and safety goggles and doing the INDICATOR PRAC (o yes our fav.) and also TITRATIONS. since you're so smart and good at sciences and maths and stuff i can DEFINATELY predict some academic teaching type job in your future and i also think you are one of the few people i can REALLY see maybeeee being a doctor. to vannessa, thanks for making those chem lessons all the more funner but NO THANKS for stealing all my lovers.and also though on the outside you act all HARDCORE i know inside you are ONE BIG SOFTIE LIKE A MARSHMALLOW
#7 LULU
well QUEEN OF EDENSOR for some reason i can see u doing many many things,a photographer,a traveller of the world,a cartoon drawer .. i think its bcos you have such a randomly unique character that i cant see you doing just one thing your whole life. And once again im afraid i cant see you being a doctor or dentist or lawyer or anything like that but instead one of those casual laid back people who are RICH RICH RICH but prefer not to spend it on material things but instead on setting up their own bakeries and travelling around the globe and what not. TO LULU thanks for being my official weird-buddy and for being so "unique in your own way" as little-v once said,ITS TRUE you are one of the most special people ive ever met, always ready to help and i predict you will go far in life!
#8 GRACE
grace grace grace, though on the outside you put on that demeanor of being all quiet and nice ON THE INSIDE i know you are just as crazily strange as the rest of us! for you , i predict a life as a medical practitioner of some kind in a small clinic and i can really see you being the matronly type doctor or whatever, wearing a dress and helping everyone BUT at the same time being in charge without being too mean or power-hungry. i can also see you having a house in the country or somewhere like a nice little cottage i dunno...ur not a city person to me. and ull have a very loving husband and many children and a vegetable patch!and even tho ull be rich u wont show it.you're too humble and modest and nice for that! TO GRACE you are probably the most mature in our group you are our MOTHER HEN so to speak and also the most amazing friend i could ever ask for. ive never seen you say something mean about anybody and since you work hard u will do well in everything and anythin u choose to pursue!
#9 MEL
HEY STONERRRR your stonerish behaviour deceived me in chem tutoring when i first laid eyes on you BUT now i know that you are SO WIERD just like the rest of us. due to your great abilities at dancing i can see you being some sort of hip-hop teacher.i dunno maybe its cos you dont seem MATURE enough but i cant see you being a medical type person or a teacher or any job for that matter! maybe a hobo hip hop teacher! JUST JOKING since u work sooo hard and get good marks u will be successful even if its not as a doctor, though i know right now that's all you want AND YOULL GET IT! to mel, thanks for speaking strangely with me and also for being sooo witty and for being the most cutest funniest friend EVER.YOU MAKE ME LAUGH AND SMILE WHENEVER I SEE YOU,YOU VERY SPECIAL PERSON!!
#10 CLAIRE
STONER NUMBER TWO.u know what? i can see you being an ARCADE GAME CENTE OWNER in japan or something, with your vast knowledge of computer games and also you endless fantasies about anime characters that is the job i predict for you! like mel, though u emit that stoner-like quality i know that you are so very FUNNY and CRAZY and i will never forget your cheerleading impressions and our cycling adventures. GOGOGOGO for improving every time we get an estimate like SRSLY HOW CAN ONE PERSON IMPROVE SO MANY TIMES ITS CRAZY. TO CLAIRE i know ull get into whatever you want to get into and THANKS for accompanying me-though mostly you were asleep-in those o so booooring english and chem lessons THEY WOULD NEVER BE AS MUCH FUN WITHOUT YOU

well thats everybody i hope, cos THE SPIDDLES has eleven letters so minus me its ten riiiite?
ANYHOW I LOVE YOU ALL HEAPS
and im srsly not just saying that cos its all the craze nowadays i REALLY ACTUALLY DO u have CHANGED MY LIFE FOR THE BETTER
THANK YOU ALL
STUDY HARDLY PLEASE
this is tall v SIGNING OFFFFF
I WILL NEVER FORGET ANY OF YOU SPIDDLES

ps for some reason little v's paragraph's background is weird...like ive edited it a million and one times trying to change it to the normal background but IT WONT WORK so now its just black so the lettering stands out

One day we're gonna get so high...

hi all! :)

well after much resistance against the pressure to blog and various accusations of being an unpost-er who never blogs, i have finally succumbed. =P haha and just at the time when everyone has decided to quit blogging for study. i just hope that means nobody will read this because i'm already feeling strangely exposed...

anyway i realised that if i don't get all my thoughts down now, they're just going to keep building up and clogging my mind and my BRAIN and without my brain- how on earth am i going to study!?!?!?!

okay not really :) but with high school having ended 3 days ago, it has only just really hit me that our school stage of life is completely OVER and there is no returning. no more hearing that crazy siren of a bell, sleeping in physics class, complaining (or for mel- rejoicing) about maths homework, exchanging smirks in english, playing with the Bunsen burner in chemistry............. i don't know if this is the case for anyone else, but i keep thinking, or maybe even convincing myself, that this is just an extended school holiday and we're going to come back to school next year just as usual. i just really really can't imagine life without school :O

even though we all expect this day to arrive, after seeing so many grades graduate before us, this could not feel any more surreal... and only being at jr for two years has not made this occasion less sad, because not only have i experienced a close connection and sense of BELONGING to this school, but i also feel as though i was just starting to get to know people better and i hate that the end of school has come so abruptly and ruined all that.

i can't believe how fast these two years at ruse have gone but they've also been soso memorable, and i absolutely do not regret a single day i've had at ruse. the start of last year was a bit shaky, what with getting lost on the first day of school, being labelled a "newbie", literally being a complete loner because i didn't know where my like 2 friends had gone...but on the other hand, the people at jr have got to be the nicest that i have ever come across, and there was always someone willing to walk me to my next class, sit with me in class or just come up and chat to me :)

the whole jr environment is just naturally awesome though. like when we played netball on the courts and there would be COWS watching us haaaaahahahahah i thought that was HILARIOUS. and i don't know if it's just me coming from a private all-girls school or something, but the vocabulary is so very interesting! i heard words like "noob" and the like so frequently, that i had to stop myself from accidentally using such words when talking to my old school friends because they would have NO idea what language i was speaking... :P jk it's not that foreign really, but i remember wondering "kickass" was meant to be good or bad, and like jane asking shiva what "owned" means ;D

so that's enough for my first impressions because i think you must all be bored out of your minds by now. well i just wanted to give a shoutout to all my SPIDDLES because, my life would not be the same without you guys!! i would not be as weird, participating in your various schemes, dancing to grease lightning on the edge of that dangerous ravine, occasionally slipping into shakespearean language and trying to decipher each other's 'codes' ;) so here's a little tribute to each of you:

  • T (lulu): i think i first came across lulu in mrs chan's newbie maths class. she sat next to jenny and i distinctly remember how she would make the most random comments. haha and then she started catching eastwood and once she commented "have you ever noticed that the wheels on a bus are SO big?" :D hehehehe well not much has changed since, but i think i will forever remember the tree-climbing incident because, i dno, it just seems to kind of encapsulate her adventurous personality... i hope that all your scars have healed by now though!!
  • H (chloe): well elissa (church friend) insisted that i befriend this 'chloe' because she was apparently a very very nice person...and so commenced my painstaking search for someone who i wasn't even sure existed because i hadn't heard of her before. eventually, while we were in the yr 11 sails area for recess, i asked tanya if she had met this chloe girl and i remember next thing being practically dragged over to her, where she looked down on me with that "and you are....?" look...   JOKES :) i was super excited to have finally met this apparently very very nice person so with all my enthusiasm i blurted out "HIMYNAMEISJOANNEANDELISSATOLDMEABOUTYOU" and she smiled and nodded, before resuming her original conversation... harhar but then that afternoon she was forced to catch the bus from carlo station with me after we missed THREE BUSES in a row yayy, all part of the plan of course ;)
  • E (claire): i met claire catching the eastwood to school every day and i thought she was a reeaally sweet person. (notice my use of past tense) hahahah i'm kidding! XD i love how claire pretends to be this really sarcastic and cynical person, she's so good at it that the whole of last year, i had to be sooo cautious around her because i thought she was really angry at me...okay i'm still not sure if she was serious about being mad at me...but anywho, it's so fun just to observe her stonedness most of the time, but when you mention some hot guy from some anime series her face fully lights up and she's all bubbly and gushing about how beautiful his grey hair is or whatever :P
  • S (little v): sooo many memories of our GOODTIMES in english ;) commenting on the balding of our teacher, the hole in her skirt (which we realised may have been intentional after she wore it a second time), trying to use juxtaposition as much as possible in our essays... haha it's quite ironic, i think english has been my favourite and at the same time most hated class for these two years. i remember how we dreaded each english class and how we would try our utmost to avoid class, but looking back now, it would've have been even more boring if we didn't have a teacher who was such an amusement to us!
  • P (jenny): yay the founder of our various sick chickens dead chickens healthy chickens scary chickens afro chickens tedious chickens chicken failures , and whatever happened to happy hippo! oh well i guess we don't really need to use that anymore :) well to be honest i was a BIT intimidated by you upon first meeting you. in maths you would turn up your music so loud that the whole class could hear what song you were playing.. and i was absolutely gobsmacked by your courage to do such a thing, esp in mrs chan's class! wish we could have spent more time togetherr this year but i suppose you also gotta look after your fatty :)
  • I (tall v): VAN of the LEES i can hardly believe that i thought you were even partially normal when i first met you! hahaha well for some reason, prob cos i wasn't in her maths class and thats the only way we make friends (KIDDING), but i didn't get to know vanessa that well...until one day after our 3U eng class, we both had a free and i successfully managed to get vanessa to accompany me on the way home; since i was still fairly new to catching buses and trains :P well as we were about to step onto the epping bus from carlo station, the bus driver CLOSED the door on us, leaving us stranded in carlingford for another...10 minutes until the parra arrived :) well during our journey home, we discovered that we were both part of this insane network of friends. basically i knew everyonee she talked about (from family friends to school friends to bus friends), and though my stalking may have contributed to this, it was soo crazy, esp since she also knew everyone that i knew. anyway yeah that was just really bizarre! haha or maybe you were stalking me the whole time too ;)
  • D (mel): hehehee i met mel the first, at the peer support camp in year 10. as everyone already knows, mel was the huuuuuuuuuuugest stoner i had ever come across; i didn't really understand what 'stoned' met until i met mel. hehe mel i say that with the greatest affection :) since we were in the same cabin, and also the only newbies in that cabin, i desperately tried to make conversation with her. so trying to be overly enthusiastic to make up for her lack of enthusiasm, i smiled brightly at her, "hi! what's your name!" and she replied "i'm melinda..." so i beamed and said, "hi melinda! do you want to sleep on the top or bottom bunk!" and she kind of just stared at me and shrugged. hahahahaha i love you mel, i'm so glad i can look back on this now and laugh because now everytime i remember this it's just so funny. well at the start of last year, i saw her again but i wasn't sure if it was her because she was so talkative and unexpectedly not stoned...:) i soon realised that her passion for "big bang", which she explained to me was a korean band and not the scientific theory, caused her to radically transform into the crazy girl i know her as today :) oh and maths too of course; everytime i felt she was getting bored of our conversations i would bring up some maths homework, and that would totally revive our conversations :D
  • D (jane): jane was THE quietest person when i first met her. it's hard to imagine now with her phenomenal tennis-player screeches and loud gasps followed by "REEEEEEEEAAAAALLLYYYY" :D but i definitely remember a time when my babble would dominate all our conversations while she would just nod and laugh at the appropriate times. haha or maybe i just talk too much =\ so anyway i was more than shocked when a matrix insider informed me that she was a "player" and she couldn't even keep count of the number of boyfriends she'd had... ;) what a deceiving little girl! :D kidding kidding jane, you are actually soo nice and sweet and cute, and i won't forget our numerous walks to roll-call last year, and how you saved me from certain situations :P i'll be so happy if you read this because it means you've finally taken a break from your study!!!
  • L (kate): i remember meeting kate on the first day of school, and thinking she was the friendliest person at the school that i'd met so far. haha even though she was a rebel for not wearing proper school shoes, ;) i understood because she was a newzealander and i supposed that that's just what they wore! well i think the most memorable part about meeting kate was probably telling her that my name was joanne, only to have her call me jane in the next five minutes. so i would remind her that my name is joanne, but five minutes later she would call me jane yet again. yeah i think that kinda continued for half the year :P dw though, mrs c_han still doesn't get our names right! anyway i might as well take this opportunity to apologise for our extremely bad present-organising, and the fact that you haven't enjoyed our most recent present as much as we expected you to :D but we're going to get you something soon which i am sure you will love! i think we already told you :)
  • E (grace): haha wow i think i most vividly remember meeting grace for some reason. anyway we were on the eastwood on the first day of school, me sitting next to aditi while she was sitting alone on the opposite seat. since it was only yr 7s and 11s that day, and i knew there were no caucasian girls in our grade, i spotted this fellow newbie at once and started a conversation. "hello! are you new to JR?"  "yess"  "coooool me TOO! what school do you come from?" etc etc and then i clearly remember "what's your name?" "grace"  "oh WOW my sisters name is grace TOO!" hahaha ok i just sound really gay in all these conversations, but i was just really excited in my first week okay. and yeh i realised how silly my comments are, because there are probably a billion grace's in this world and i was fully like amazed that she could have the same name as my sister...

okay it's 1.52AM which is equivalent to 2.52AM because of daylight saving argh i do hate this kind of daylight saving...

so i really should be off but anyway, if any of you bothered to wade through this blog, GOOD JOB and thank you for making this worth my time! i doubt i could blog again since as soon as i get into it, i can think of only a million things to say ... yeh there's still so much i want to put in even now but i fear i'll fall asleep in church tomorrow if i continue :(

goodbyee!

yay writing this blog cheered me up :)
