I <3 TREE

=) So here is my story from yesterday.

You see, my dad had brought a mango tree and today (well, yesterday actually) because HSC WAS OVER, I did a nice deed and offered to plant it. =D Aren't I nice?

So we began digging the hole. Actually dad was digging, BUT, I wanted to try too! Hehe it's fun but heavy. However during my 3rd or so scoop of dirt, i managed to scrape my finger on the aloevera plant and it started bleeding. D= TETANUS !!!
But all was fine and instead I was sent off to go reasearch how to plant the tree. =.=

By the time I came back, the hole was already dug and I got sent to go fetch the water. =P BUT A BUCKETFUL OF WATER IS HEAVY!!!! So much for being helpful -__- Instead, I carried the watering can. heh

Ok, picture time:

Step 1: dig a hole.

After I cut my finger, dad chopped all the aloe-vera leaves to prevent me doing stupid things again. -__- Haha, you can see the mutated plant next to the hole.

Step #2: fill the hole with dirt then add water to make CHOCOLATE - MUD - PIES. =D

Yummy.

Step #3: put the tree into the hole

Step #4: fill up the hole

Step 5: water and you're done!!!

haha see the ancient coke bottle we found in the hole? it's being washed so that it can be recycle. =] The glass was so thick back in that age! It was like, actual thick glass. Ok, don't worry. My vocab sucks.

OH! Also, since I was being so cool, I went planting in ruse jersey + pj pants + school shoes (sister permanently 'borrowed' sport shoes =__=). Too bad all the people walking past probably saw the great big "RUSE" which is written across the back. Oh well. But, I'm being a good role model yes? Be environmentally friendly. =) That's the key.

Ok, it is late and I need to go return books tomorrow. So, farewell.

Good morning everyone!

heh, I'm so happy. =D I'm sure all (most) of you are happy too. :D :D :D

But then again, my parents were laughing at me this morning. -__-

Heres what happened:

Dad: L, come help me look for xxxxx!
Me: OK! I'll help you look. So where is it?
Mum: ....... "I'll help you look, where is it"? ROFLLOLOL

Actually, it's not even that funny. But she keeps mentionning it.

Arg, I was gonna blog about my tree-planting adventures yesterday, but Claire calls.

Until later then.

=)

YAY! (for those people who are finished)

Unfortunately, I am not quite finished yet. Which leads to an obvious question: why am I not studying?

Well that is because I thought of something very very important! After exams we really should all go tree planting to make up for those trees we've used up writing essays, printing past papers, printing notes, writing essays, writing notes, photocopying books, photocopying textbooks, photocopying several textbooks (as people in my phys class will be well aware of. lol Mr K's 'copy-every-single-bit-of-relevant-info-for-the-class-to-study-themself'), the many pages of paper spent doing MATHS, the 8-page writing booklets for questions that only use a page or two, writing essays, I think you probably get my point.

BUT

Either because of my crappy researching skills, or the fact that there are very few tree planting programs, I can't find any! D= Actually, I did find ONE, but the plantings happened several months ago. Turns out tree planting should be carried out in the cooler months too.

Sigh. There goes my wonderful plan. Back to physics now.

To all you people who are finished, good job. 8)
